A 30-minute video consultation for visitors to Switzerland, with a licensed Swiss physician.

You do not need a Swiss residence permit and your nationality does not matter. What matters is that you are physically in Switzerland at the time of the consultation, that the physician examines you herself by video, and that you collect any medication in person at a Swiss pharmacy.

In a 30-minute video appointment the physician reviews your medical history, the treatments you have already tried, and your therapy goals. Where medically indicated, she draws up an individual treatment plan for the duration of your stay and explains the next steps.

Medical cannabis has been legal on prescription in Switzerland since August 2022. No special authorisation is required.

CHF 149 medical consultation, plus CHF 49 one-time guest onboarding. CHF 198 in total. Self-pay, we cannot bill any insurer. Not sure yet? Start with the free 10-minute information call.

FAQ

Do I need to live in Switzerland? No. You need to be physically in Switzerland for every consultation, including any follow-up. If you are abroad at the time of the appointment, it has to be postponed.

Will I definitely get a prescription? No, and be wary of anyone who promises you one. The physician decides on the basis of the medical assessment.

How long should my stay be? Finding the right dose takes time and at least one check-in should fit inside your stay. From around four weeks this works well. Below that the physician decides case by case.

Can I take the medication home with me? If you are travelling on within the Schengen area, a certificate can be issued for up to 30 days of treatment. It costs CHF 50 and needs about 14 days' notice. Outside the Schengen area we do not issue certificates and are not permitted to advise you on the rules that apply to you. Canada prohibits crossing its border with cannabis in both directions.

How is the medication dispensed? In person at a Swiss pharmacy against ID, for at most one month and never beyond your departure date. There is no shipping abroad.

What does a follow-up during my stay cost? CHF 149.
